The Air Jordan 1 "Dark Marina Blue" is just around the corner

The Air Jordan 1 "Dark Marina Blue" hue — one of the newest variants to be added to MJ's first trademark shoe arsenal — was one of the standouts from Jordan Brand's Spring 2022 Retro Collection, which was formally introduced on December 20, 2021. Many sneaker leakers have previously seen the makeup since last Autumn, but Nike has officially revealed official photographs of the sneakers.

From a design sense, the sneakers follow the same color-blocking pattern as the Air Jordan 1 "Pollen," which was released in the Autumn 2021, but with the namesake hue as the major focus. The smooth leather overlays, Swooshes, and ankle flaps, as well as the laces and tongue flags, are all covered in "Dark Marina Blue." Jordan Brand uses black paint on the toe boxes, quarter panels, collars, and nylon tongues to counteract this tone. The iconic Jordan logo and Nike Air tongue hits, the former of which is covered in black and contrasted with white also appear. Midsole components are entirely white, and the outsoles are buried in "Dark Marina Blue," completing the look.
